I’m still after numbers and have driven up into north Essex to Aythorpe Roding to walk the newly published Aythorpe Amble series of trads. If time permitted, I’d try to squeeze in a couple more caches.

I’m nearing the end of a twelve month Geocaching challenge to get at least 150 caches a month. I usually have a whole day’s caching once a week but due to circumstances beyond my control, I only have a couple of hours early doors this morning.
I’m nearing the end of a twelve month Geocaching challenge to get at least 150 caches a month. I usually have a whole day’s caching once a week but today I only had three hours due to reasons beyond my control.
I had a spare couple of hours so what better to do than come out and look for some caches. I had solved all of this splendid series of mystery caches all based on PI the 3.142 variety in Belfairs Park so it was an obvious choice to pop down here.
My wife has always wanted to visit her Grandfather’ grave in Brandhoek New Military Cemetery No 3 in Vlamertinge near Ypres but never had the chance. We were planning to come on a coach trip earlier in the year but it got cancelled. However, another one came up on Armistice Day, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One.
I have an interest in local Heavy Anti Anticraft sites and I have visited quite a few in the district. There is a five gun site on a farm in Vange with most of the platform buried under earth but most of the building exist. In fact, the farmhouse has been built around some of the old barracks.
It‘s the anniversay of the setting up of the Church Micro cache series. As I’m very keen on CMs, I want to attend an event especially as there is a souvenir to collect. BEASTMARSTA has organised one at the Princess Charlotte pub in Stanway near Colchester so I was going.
I had been planning a day caching trip to London for over a year now which seems ludicrous as I only live 35 miles away.
It’s the weekend and again I’m back in Kent for a couple of hours caching early doors. As I have to be home by ten, I’ve decided that I’m going to try to pick off some of the unfound caches
I had a spare couple of hours so I came over to South Woodham Ferrers hoping to find a few more caches here. I quickly found the new trad at Shirebourne Path and then drove down to the banks of the River Crouch.
