I’m nearing the end of a twelve month Geocaching challenge to get at least 150 caches a month. I usually have a whole day’s caching once a week but due to circumstances beyond my control, I only have a couple of hours early doors this morning. As I need numbers, I’ve come down here today to tackle some of the series of trad drive by caches - TuGs C&D Cache. This was set up to give cachers the opportunity to keep runs going.
I pulled into Strood at first light and spent a few hours jumping out and back into the motor. 😀I had a good run of caches but I ran out of time as I had to be back across the Thames and home for ten.
However this wasn’t going to be the last one of the day. Mathsnut had arranged an event in Belfairs Park, Leigh on Sea at two. I expected Anyone for Tea #2 to be busy but as it was a fine day, the Southend Arterial was heaving with traffic and the car park at the Park was full. I got to the meeting late but was there for an action packed fifteen minutes.🤔
An excellent meeting with so many people to talk too but I did my best whilst I was there. I swapped some Travel Bugs and also gleaned some valuable information on some of the local mystery caches that have been causing me some grief.
