Bluewater Blues - 3rd November

Read story

It’s the weekend and again I’m back in Kent for a couple of hours caching early doors. As I have to be home by ten, I’ve decided that I’m going to try to pick off some of the unfound caches that I have just over the bridge and work my way to Bluewater to hopefully find some challenge caches that I have qualified for.

I parked up in the big supermarket car park in Greenhithe and used this for the base for the Speedway and Clach na h-Ailfrion caches and then drove to the QE2 Bridge final. After finding that one I went to have a look for the Bridge 834 multi. When I arrived, I knew that I had cached around here before so I was in mopping up mode. I couldn’t find the multi but made up for it when I found the Old Chapel Footpath trad nearby. I then found the A Toast To Geocaching multi on my way down here to Bluewater, Kent’s answer to the Essex’s Lakeside Shopping Centre.

I parked up in one of the huge car parks and failed first off at the Blockbuster Bingo Challenge. I got back on track at the Fenced In trad and then walked around the ring road to the Iconoclastic Bingo Challenge cache. I quickly found the the well placed cache so it was great to finish the morning on a high.
