Revisiting Kent Views

It seems that the Geocaching maestro, jazzyjessups has upsticks and moved house, archiving many of his splendid series’ around Swanley. This has left a void but some cachers have started to fill that. There was a circular series on the slopes above Farningham and this has now been replaced by another series called Kent Views Revisited. I am going to give this one a go this morning.

Bye Bye Bart

I had it in mind to finish off the D’oh! series in West Cambridgeshire. This power trail of mystery caches is based on The Simpsons cartoon series and I only had a few left to do. Luckily they were all between Barrington and Orwell plus I knew of a decent place to park so I could do them in one hit.

I’m still trying to fill in my Large D/T grid and a search on the official site brought up the very useful 4/2 trad Memories are made of this..! trad published in 2006 down in Hemsted Forest in Kent. I fired it up and found to my delight that there was the Maelstrom circular series of 23 Mystery caches in the same Forest.😀😀

I had once walked 101 caches in a day and never thought that I would be able to beat that. However with the publication of the Essex and Herts Border series, I thought that I could have a chance to beat that especially if I had an electric bike. The series has over 300 trads and all of them are 1.5/1.5, all placed to be found.
