I’m still on the track of Virtuals and 1/1s and there’s one Virtual up at the Saffron Walden Turf Maze that is sticking out like a sore thumb on my list. Walden also has a new Adventure Labs series so that’s another reason to visit this historical old town. I had visited this place many times before and knew where there was free parking.😀

The Crays, that cluster of villages on the Kent/Greater London border not those nice boys, Ronnie and Reggie who ruled the East End in the late fifties and sixties. My Nan lived in Stepney Green not far from The Blind Beggar pub where one of them wreaked revenge on Jack “The Hat” McVitie.

I was in Great Dunmow this morning to try out the Dunmow Dawdle series of trads. This was a circular series of eighteen caches starting at a well known supermarket with a Costa and three hours free parking.🤔

I was going to Gravesend early doors this morning but my first stop was the first stop was the CM multi at Rosherville - St Marks.

I had decided to come back to this part of Kent to pick up where I had left off a couple of weeks ago.

I’m trying to adhere to this lockdown so have driven twenty minutes up the A130 into Great Baddow to have a go at the Baddow Buildings Adventure Labs series.

Boris has spoken and we are now in lockdown. 🤔 I’m not sure of the actual details so I decided to stay local today.

The only Bromley that I have visited is Bromley-by-Bow in East London. Well I say, visited, I have stopped there many time on the District Line tube going into the City. In fact, it’s the last stop overground before it goes underground, if you get my drift.🤔

This week, I want to increase the number of Virtuals and 1/1s towards some challenge caches. I had a plan to go down to the Folkestone area and work my way up through Ashford and into Maidstone. However I had to be back for one so here’s how things went.

Once I’d qualified for the 1st Iconic County Challenge (6 caching icons in 6 different counties) I was keen to add the 3.5/1 to my collection.😀
