It’s Sunday morning, I have a couple of hours and I’m eager to bump up my Greater London numbers.

Well this is going to be an interesting day. I am after quite a few Challenge Caches today including some that are date critical.😀 However they are down near Guildford in Surrey so I have planned a busy day. Here’s what happened.

It’s not Nottingham but Mottingham, a place just inside South East London but outside the South Circular, that I have only heard about recently. I spotted an abundance of multis here which turned out to be CMs do I wanted to gather them in.

I’m still fretting about getting all the necessary icons down in Surrey and I also need to reduce the number of Challenge caches on my qualified list before some of them get archived but not necessarily those that I am after today. I decided to go to the far side of Surrey to pick up the All About A Challenge series and hopefully find an Earthcache into the bargain.

Have I ever mentioned that I am fond of Challenge caches.🤔 Did I tell you that I thought that I completed a challenge which needed seven icons in seven counties only to find that I needed eight in eight as I was claiming the cache?

It’s Sunday morning again and here’s the plan - pick up a mystery and a multi as well as getting to Chislehurst for another Village Hall Week event. Unfortunately gettable mysteries were a bit thin on the ground in the area that I wanted to be in so it was going to be tricky. Here‘s how things went.

I’m sure that you have all heard of the Village Hall series which is spreading over the country. Steered by Geo Jaxx, it is becoming very popular. For the last couple of years, she has tied the series up with the national Village Halls Week, promoted by local councils, the W.I. and other bodies to publicise the use of local village halls.

I’m always looking out for a CITO especially when it’s on a day when I’m out caching especially when I can get there. So when a CITO popped up in Cambridge on a Wednesday morning, I was all over it.😀 I planned a morning‘s worth of caching which would take me up to the start of the event and then an afternoon pottering around Impington. However things didn’t go exactly to plan . Here’s how it went.🥴

It’s early on a Sunday morning so it’s back to basics - multi, mystery and more caches in Greater London. However the first two are actually in Kent and first up is the Horrible Histories multi in Wilmington. It’s actually based on a PoW camp that was based here during WW2.

I always have to plan my days out, taking into account what I need for a challenge or even what type of cache is needed for a challenge. Today’s plan is to visit Hertfordshire to bump up my county numbers. I also need to factor in a multi and a mystery today.
