Two Tree Treasure

Read story

Just time for one today so it was a 20 minute drive down to Two Tree Island in Leigh-on-Sea for Treasure. I can imagine that it would get hairy on a Spring tide but I'd chosen to go at low tide so no wet feet for me today.

The well hidden cache was found lurking under some sea grass tucked away out of sight. The log was well wrapped up in a sealable pouch. I realised that when I was last looking in this creek, there was an overwintering Whimbrel. Not this time, just a Black-headed Gull in winter plumage floating in the air above me.

On the way home I spotted three GR type B pillar boxes, one with a POD holder, two E2R type B pillar boxes and a type K pillar box on the way home.
