The Day That The Rains Came

NathanjHunt had arranged an event to celebrate the publication of his 200th cache. The location was on the top of a WW2 pill-box on the sea-wall in St. Lawrence Bay on the Dengie. However the weather forecast was atrocious so I didn't expect many people to be there.

I was surprised by the turnout and met BigBadJohn, kareninwb, snoopyus and the Besom Flyers for the first time. The weather seemed to be holding off but ten minutes into the event, there were a few drops of rain. Suddenly the powers that be, opened the tap fully and we all scuttled for cover, bringing the event to a very premature end.☹️
