I had to visit my friend Paul, who lives in Rainsford Road, Chelmsford today. We started work together as apprentices at Brentwood Receiving Station, one of Marconi’s network of radio stations back in September 1965. I was telling him about geocaching and we came over the road to look at this Earthcache.
The conduit had been the main source of drinking water for Chelmsford centre since it was erected in 1814 at the junction of the High Street and Springfield Road. It was moved to Its present site early in the 20th century.
We sorted out the answers to qualify and sent them off to the COs for their perusal.
