Reached It - 30th December

I’ve bored you silly with tales of reaching 150 caches a month for a challenge. I needed 5 caches today to meet that target. There were enough unfound caches for me in Brentwood so I drove over to give it a go to come over here for a couple of early hours.

I parked up near the old Registry Office on the A128. I had spent a happy hour in there 30 years ago last September. 🤫 I did a circular walk finding the CM trad at Brentwood Cathedral as well as the ECs at Brentwood Chapel and the War Memorial in Shenfield Road. I spotted the memorial plaque here to Sgt Merrifield VC, a native of Brentwood who emigrated to Canada for work before WW1. I then drove down to Warley Village Hall via the street sign trad for the Village Hall multi and the clever sluggy trad.

I was after the CM multi in South Weald that I had been watching for a while. On the way here, I stopped off for the Messed Up mystery. This one consisted of reassembling messed up coords. None that I did proved successful but the hint was so good, I didn’t need coords.🤔

At the church, I soon had the required info in hand and then after a short walk had the well placed cache with the use of a handy TOTT. Once the cache was replaced, I set off back to the car and home with my target for this month reached.
