Maple Leaf Rag

Read story

July 1st is Canada Day 🇨🇦 and a geocaching souvenir has been issued by Geocaching HQ to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada's independence. To qualify and therefore earn the souvenir, you had to attend a Canada Day 🇨🇦 event during this weekend. Thankfully the Mathsnut family had organised a Canada Day 🇨🇦 picnic at Wesley Heights which is part of the Langdon Hills Country Park In Basildon.

There was a big turnout for this - the Mathsnut family, Grobo59, Izybuzyfingers and Gregorystar, Vanguard3, Julie & daughter from BTL101092, Maatmoo, who had travelled over or should I say under the Thames from Kent, Mr & Mrs Goldilox92 and myself.😎

So we all had a great time talking about all things geocaching until the meeting ended. Many thanks for arranging the event, Mathsnuts. 👏

Btw Maple Leaf Rag was a ragtime composition written for piano by Scott Joplin in 1899.
