I have recently become aware of the East Anglian Transport Museum in near Lowestoft and as a birthday treat, my wife has arranged a night away in the Wherry Inn on Oulton Broad just down the road from the museum.
As it’s my birthday, there are no problems with me grabbing a cache where I can 🤔 and the CM in Darsham, Suffolk is on the way. When we got to Lowestoft, we had a look around the harbour and discovered the Mincarlo, a Sidewinder Fishing Trawler, now a splendid floating museum and spent an hour exploring the boat.
It was so interesting that we went back the next day to see the video about the trawling industry in Lowestoft. Once we were finished, we quickly found the clever Pantopoda trad, a few yards from the Mincarlo and set off for the Transport Museum where we trammed and bussed ourselves silly. 😀
