I decided to attend the Essex & Suffolk Border Piffle Event at the Wooden Fender up In Ardleigh. It was a great meeting, loads of chat - found out about electric bikes, event arranging etiquette and arranged a buddy for an important cache in a few weeks.😀 I also unloaded 9 TBs that I’d been lugging around.🤫
Our hosts, the Stowmartians had set out a small series of trads which weren’t far from the pub. I was outside, getting some fresh air talking to Mick from OG&B about an elusive cache in Sudbury, when a lady asked us what our group was. We explained about Geocaching. She was happy with that but said that she kept seeing people coming out of the pub, disappearing behind the bus shelter across the road (where there was a new trad🤔) and returning to the pub. She thought that we were a wife swapping group.🤣😂 We all went over the road to find the cache to put her mind at rest.😀
I found out that a new CM multi had been published so went off to look for that but didn’t hear about the VHs unfortunately.
