I had a spare hour to myself so I thought that I’d give this new series which had been set by the local Guide company a try. Stanford-le-Hope has been devoid of decent caches for a while now so I was looking to this series.
I had found #4, then drove up to #1 and then walked down to the cleverly placed #12. After a quick find, it started raining, which wasn’t forecast so I quickly beat it back to the motor. I was parking up just down the road from the footpath to this one when the rain stopped, which was handy.😀
#11 was an easy find but looked vulnerable in its setting and has since disappeared. I continued down the path towards the Manorway and the subway. The previous logs for this one mentioned the thorns so I had come prepared. Even then, the cache was so well hidden that it took me while to locate it. I think that I said Ouch or something like it more that once .🤬
