I’m struggling with this twelve month Geocaching challenge to get at least 150 caches a month. I’ll be glad when it’s over but I’m not giving up.🤔 As usual, I’m in Kent for an early morning’s caching, There are still quite a few of the TuGs C&D series to go for so I’m back in the Strood to tackle some more of these drive by caches.
I was in All Hallows as dawn broke and the rain started. I found the Fort Slough cache and spent some time trying to get close to the TuGs C&D Any Vehicle trad but no joy. I spent a couple of hours working my way around the lanes and farm roads back towards Kingsnorth. I had found all but a couple of the caches on my list and significantly the last one of the morning was the clever Goodbye to Kingsnorth trad. All I had to do was to get home now.
However, caching wasn’t over for the day as I was going to be left to my own devices this afternoon.😀 My plans was to go back to Belfairs Park in Leigh to hopefully finish off the Pi series of mystery caches. I parked up in Belfairs Park Drive and set off through the woods to the Doris’s Doodars trad. In the next hour, I found the cunningly hidden Pi - Pork, Pi - Chicken and Pi - Cherry mysteries. I also eventually found the splendid Every Geocacher Needs trad and the Ring the Changes Mystery. I have attached a photo of the trad.😀
All I had to do now was to find the Pie - Bonus cache. I had collected the clues when finding the caches to gain the coordinates. Once I had had got myself to the search area, I quickly found the well hidden cache. It had been a good day’s caching.😀
