Tonight was the 50th Essex Meet and I had another splendid meeting spent chatting to old and new friends.

I’m meeting the chaps for lunch today in Billericay today. However, I’m going a little early as there have been a few trads published down by Billericay Town‘s ground.

I used to work with Nigel in the BT Radio Stations. Ritchie is one of the finest rock guitarists out there founding Deep Purple in the late 60s.

I’m back in Swanley for a few more caches including some mysteries. It’s just as dawn is breaking and I have to be back home for ten.

I had a spare hour or two so decided to pick up a couple of stray caches in South Green. One looked to be a simple trad and the other was a multi called Book Series #1.

I had planned a whole day’s caching in London and got into Fenchurch Street at 0845. My plan was to work my way down to the river catching some ECs and some trads.

I was only caching in Buckhurst Hill on Friday but I only scratched the surface so I decided to come back over here this morning for a couple of hours to find some more.

This is my first caching day out since Christmas and I have decided to stay in Essex for a wander around Theydon Bois, Debden and Buckhurst Hill.
