With the world shutting down due to the Covid-19 virus, there seems to be some uncertainty about Geocaching. I’ve decided that I’m a lone cacher and if I keep out of people’s way, I should be alright.

We are off steaming down the coast towards Spain but things have changed a little. We now have to fill in two Moroccan entry forms for presentation tomorrow before we can get off as well as having passed the temperature test.
We’re going on a cruise.😀 We are visiting Portugal, Spain, Morocco and Gibraltar, three new countries, one new continent and three new European regions, I’m ecstatic.😀😀😀
Today, I’m heading towards the Isle of Sheppey and hopefully picking up some decent D/T Challenge caches on the way.
It’s Leap Year Day and I want to gather up a few caches to boost my stats. The weather forecast is wet and murky so I didnt want to go too far.
This week I decided to go back to re-visit West Cambs to pick up some of the caches that I had to pass by when I was doing the 2012 Decathalon Challenge Cache last week.
I had to pop into Brentwood so I deviated through Hutton on the way home to have a look at the 3/2 Cricket Ground trad.
With the threat of high winds closing the QE2 Bridge this morning, it seemed that my chance to find one of the two challenges that I had recently qualified would be lost.
The crowd were hushed awaiting the starting gun, well in my mind anyway. I left home at 0550 and parked up in Hadstock just down from the church just before dawn. I quickly found the 4/2 Heal The World #78_Series Final mystery which gave me Event 2, the 4D.
Well, all my ducks are lined up, the TBs are still lurking in a cache up in Linton, so fingers crossed, I’m going for it. The Decathalon is about to start. I reckoned that the night attribute could cause me grief so I’d discounted the one in Royston and would go for the one in Hadleigh.
